Sweep the leg!

Yesterday morning was pretty foggy. I rolled up the garage door and couldn’t see more than a few feet. I felt like any minute I would see zombies slowly shambling toward me out of the fog. Thankfully I’ve read enough books, and seen enough movies that I am well prepared for the inevitable Zombie Apocalypse. Work continues on the site, and I am making more progress. My biggest issue is that I normally only have 1 or 2 hours a night to work on it, and laying the groundwork takes awhile. I’ve nearly got the entire backend for the photo gallery coded. Pretty much just using .NET to auto generate HTML and throw it into a placeholder control. I know that there are thousands of photo galleries out there, but I just felt like rolling my own this time. I like knowing exactly how it works, and being able to tweak it if need be. As for the home front, we had our first parent/teacher conference with my sons teacher yesterday. Sounds like he’s doing really well, and getting along with the other kids. His handwriting is starting to get better, and the teacher mentioned that he loves doing puzzles and figuring things out. Which is cool, because I’m the same way. It’ll be interesting to see where his life leads him. Well, I’m off to work on the site some more, so until next time…….
