I’ll just regress, because I feel I’ve made myself perfectly redundant.

Description

450391.1020.AI have a new favorite show, and funnily enough, I’ve never watched it on TV.

What show and where have I seen it?  “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” on Hulu.  I started hearing about Hulu last year and decided to log on and check it out.  It’s a great service because you can watch pretty much any regular tv show for free, online, anytime.  I was looking around for something funny to watch, and I had heard of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” from various talk shows, so I decided to give it a try.  I was instantly hooked.

If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a show that centers around “the gang”, a group of friends that own Paddy’s bar in Philadelphia.  “The gang” consists of brother and sister Dennis and Sweet Dee, their father Frank, and their friends Charlie and Mac.  Each episode typically begins with the gang hatching a zany plot, and then follows them as the plot inevitably blows up in their face.  One of the funniest aspects of this show is that even though the gang are friends, they have no problem screwing each other over in their own self centered pursuits.

My favorite character on the show is Frank, played by Danny DeVito.  I’m a DeVito fan anyway, and he plays the character of Frank to a perfection in this show.  He’s loud, crude, typically drunk, and hilarious.

This is a rated M show, and frequently has some adult languages, and ALWAYS has adult situations.  However, if you can get past that, and want to watch a show that’s really just a good 1/2 hour of silliness, you really can’t do better than this show.  I highly recommend checking it, and Hulu out.

Until next time…..

Yeah, I need to check out this show. One night I was playing something online and talking to Shannon and Jason while they had this on in the background and they were laughing their asses off. Hearing them describe the various situations in the show was enough to get me interested. I wanted to pick it up on video, but now I can check it out fo free. Thanks duder!
