Christmas 2009

Description

I took a boat load of pictures on Christmas Eve and Christmas day, so I decided to break them into two posts.  The following are all Christmas eve pictures taken with my 50mm lens.  The kids had a great time, and were very excited that they got to see Santa.  Stay tuned tomorrow for some pics from Christmas day, including some photos from my new 70-300mm lens, which was a very, very generous Christmas present from my in-laws.  The lens is amazing and after popping it on my camera I had already captured quite a few very nice shots.  I look forward to using this lens, and can’t wait for some clear nights so I can take some really awesome moon shots.

So..without further ado, here are the photos from last night.

Grats on the new lens! As for photo equipment I got a Crumpler 5 Million Dollar Home (camera bag) and a tripod.

    Get any other good loot?

Looks like a nice camera bag. As for me, I got the lens, a remote shutter release, new clothes, a sweet Darth Vader Helmet candy jar, a zen garden, puzzle and family guy calendar for my desk and some other odds and ends. You? Oh, and we need to get together some weekend day and drive around looking for cool stuff to photograph.

Sweet, I got a Boba Fett candy Jar last year! Your candy jar tells mine not to disintegrate the sweets.

I got both the new 007 movies and District 9 on Blu Ray, a new winter coat, Borderlands, DJ Hero, a Nerf Vulcan, a bag of Griots car cleaning stuff, couple Beatles CD’s, some new speakers for the PC, a set of wireless heaphones for the tv, and yesterday I went and spent my Xmas money on a G13 gameboard and New Super Mario Brothers Wii.

We also need to go see Sherlock Holmes. =D
