We had a brand new Rainbow Play Systems Play Set installed today for the kids. Why didn’t I build it? I’m not mechanically inclined, so I would rather pay the money to have it done right. Anyway, here are some photos of the newly installed playset along with the kids enjoying it.
Also, I added a couple of pics I took today. One of a dandelion that had changed into a parachute ball (I’m not making that up, check wiki). The others are photos of an old baseball mitt I had lying around. I threw out in the backyard and snapped these photos. I really, really like them because of how they make the mitt and ball look old and worn. Anyway, as always, if you see anything you like, drop me a line or follow me on twitter.

Before heading out to see the Broadway production of Beauty and The Beast with my wife (which was really cool. I had a great time.) I grabbed my camera and snapped these photos of some blossoms on our weeping cherry tree. The tree itself is kind of a pain in the rear to deal with, but the flowers are really pretty.
So, without further ado, here are the photos. By the way, if you like this blog or any photos I take, leave a comment or follow me on twitter @JoshStir, I would really appreciate it!

While I was waiting for my wife and kids to get home this evening I pulled out my trusty Nikon and took some shots of the flowers my wife bought the other day. I like these, especially as they were “off the cuff” and didn’t really have any thought behind them. Anyway, take a gander, and leave some feedback!

Well, no new pics, because I haven’t had time to take any. So…I decided to tell you about my new favorite show….The Office. Up until a few weeks ago I had never seen it. Everyone always told me “It’s so funny, you should watch it” and I would just reply “Ehh, doesn’t really seem like my sort of thing”
So, fast forward to a few months ago when I subscribe to Netflix. Netflix (which rules!) has video on demand, and you can actually watch seasons 1-5 of The Office. So I got bored one night, fired up season 1 episode 1 and was instantly hooked. I’ve pretty much watch at least 2 episodes a day now, trying to get caught up.
The pranks that Jim pulls on Dwight are the best, and I look forward to seeing what new ones he comes up with. It’s just a really well written, well acted show. So, that begs the question….are there any other shows I’ve been sleeping on? If you know of some good shows, give me a shout out and I’ll take a gander at them.
Today is a sad day for the United States. It’s the beginning of the end for a great nation, and if you don’t know why, then you haven’t been paying attention.
Well, after many trials and tribulations I finally figured out how to get some flash (Aha — Savior of the Universe!) movies up and running. It wasn’t easy, but, it was worth it. Anyway, that being said, the first movie I decided to post is a little montage I put together for the twins 1st birthday a couple of years ago. I admit, watching this still makes the old josh man a little teary eyed. That being said, give it a whirl and let me know what you think. Also, this site normally gets on average 16 unique hits a day, so if you visit, leave me a comment, because in all honesty it makes my day. On with the movie!!!
I don’t have any new pictures, but I just wanted to do a quick post. I tried to think of a good subject and eventually settled on “What gets Josh through his work day?” Listed below are some of the podcasts I listen to during the day. They help me get through the work day a little faster and with a smile on my face. They are listed below in no particular order.

Multiplaying.net is a website run by a buddy of mine, and a few of his friends. It’s a gaming website that has various articles, reviews and insights on the world of gaming. Particularly PC gaming. The accompanying podcast is super funny, and I think the chemistry of those involved would appeal to even non-gamers. The only con is this is a once a week podcast, because these guys all have jobs and families. However, I highly recommend giving this one a whirl.

The Mike O’Meara Show podcast is a podcast from the gang behind The Mike O’Meara show which used to run on the now defunct 106.7 WJFK out of D.C. The 3 original members (Mike, Rob, and Buzz) have been joined by Big O and Dukes alum Oscar Santana. It’s a fun filled, guy talker show where they cover everything from sports to Oscars peculiar taste in women. This one often has me laughing at my desk. Rob’s audio vault is one of the major highlights for me and always has some good bits.

This one probably needs no introduction. It’s the podcast of Adam Carolla formerly of The Adam Carolla Show, Loveline, and The Man Show. It’s a great podcast with great guests and stories from the Ace Man. The new live shows are awesome too. If you like Adam Carolla, you need to check this out.

This is a new podcast that I just started listening too. It’s Teresa Strasser (from The Adam Carolla Show and While You Were Out) and Lynette Carolla (Adam’s wife). It deals with parenting and the trials and tribulations of having kids, all with a funny, open and honest discussion. Teresa is very funny, and as a new mom, talks a lot about her fears of being a mother, which is very interesting.
Well, there you have it. My top four podcasts that I listen to. Each is about 1 hour long, and is a nice way to split up my day. I recommend trying each one out, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. If you have some suggestions of podcasts I should check out, drop me a comment and let me know.
Well, I finally had time to take some new photos of the kids. I’ve been pretty busy lately, and haven’t really had time to take any or process them afterward. So here are some I took the other day. I don’t really think these are anything that great, but hopefully soon I’ll be able to get out and take some different types of photos. Anyway, for now, here are some photos!

The new psu is in, the fans and hd are spinning and everything seems to be working. So…here are a couple new pics I took this week. The sunrise we had a few days ago was awesome!
